July 2021

We are pleased to share highlights of the firm’s environmental, community, and justice initiatives over the past year. Chapman’s Social Impact and Sustainability Communication on Progress report—available here for download—was prepared with guidance from our Social Impact and Sustainability Task Force and is part of Chapman’s commitment to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)—a set of 10 human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption principles, along with 17 corresponding sustainable development goals, designed to help businesses make a positive impact on society and the environment.

Chapman is among a handful of US law firms participating in the UNGC, and we join a number of our clients and some of the largest corporations in the world in a common purpose—“united in the business of a better world”—by charting more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable paths for the delivery of our services and products, and the support of our people and our communities.

We are incredibly proud of the work we have done, the partnerships we have forged, and the results we have achieved—and look forward to contributing to future impact through collaboration with our Chapman colleagues, with our clients, and with our communities.

We have always been focused on finance.
