James F. Lucarello

James Lucarello is senior counsel in Chapman's Commercial Lending Group and a member of the Banking and Financial Services Department. James represents direct lenders, banks, and other financial institutions in connection with loan originations for acquisition financings, secured and unsecured bank financings, mezzanine financings, second lien financings, and asset-based lending. James also has extensive experience representing sponsors and borrowers in lending transactions. His experience includes the drafting and negotiation of loan agreements, security agreements, promissory notes, pledge agreements, guarantees, and term sheets.

Prior to joining Chapman, James practiced law at Winston & Strawn LLP, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and Alston & Bird LLP.
