Overview

Melanie Haywood is an associate in Chapman's Commercial Lending Group and a member of the Banking and Financial Services Department. She primarily focuses on acquisition financing, sponsor finance, commercial lending, cash flow loans and leveraged finance, particularly in the middle market, with average deal sizes ranging from $10 million to $500 million.

Her transactions span a number of industries, including agriculture, consumer manufacturers and retailers, financial institutions, food, health care, private equity and portfolio companies.

Melanie participated in Chapman's summer associate program in 2018 and joined the firm in 2019. During law school, Melanie served as a fellow at the Mary and Michael Jaharis Health Law Institute.
