Overview
René LeBlanc-Allman is a partner in Chapman's Banking and Financial Services Department and is a member of the Commercial Lending Group. She serves as the Office Leader of the firm's Charlotte office. Her practice focuses on structuring, negotiating, and documenting secured and unsecured domestic and international credit facilities.
René has represented the administrative agent or lender in a wide variety of syndicated and bilateral financings in middle market and large-cap transactions, including those involving: cross-border lending; multi-currency facilities; first/second lien and mezzanine structures; asset-based facilities; acquisition finance; and foreign/domestic collateral facilities. Borrowers in these transactions have included international drug testing companies; hospitals; national and international restaurant and hotel chains; national milk processors; payroll processors; paper mills and other manufacturers; media and telecommunication companies; and many others. René has also assisted corporate borrowers and financial sponsors in connection with their financing needs.
She has also represented the administrative agent or lender in connection with distressed credit facilities, including those involving default/forbearance and workout situations.
René served in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1994.
