Overview
Brannon Andrews is senior counsel and a member of Chapman's Corporate and Securities Department and the Private Funds Group and Investment Management Group. She primarily represents institutional investors in private market investment transactions, including private equity, infrastructure, real estate, credit and hedge funds. She advises on investment-related transactional matters, including investment management agreements and other investment-related contracts, as well as venture capital financing and M&A transactions.
Additionally, Brannon has extensive experience advising governmental pension plans regarding state-specific investment restriction statutes.
Prior to joining Chapman, Brannon served as an investments and securities assistant general counsel for one of the country's largest state employees retirement systems. She has also previously provided pro bono counsel services to Austin Pets Alive!
