Overview

Erica Hicks is an associate and member of Chapman's Asset Securitization Department. She represents financial institutions, marketplace lending platforms and other participants in securitization and structured finance matters.  Erica also has experience representing master servicers and special servicers in CMBS conduit and single asset securitizations, CLO securitizations, loan workouts and foreclosures, modifications and consents, cash management structuring, and loan assumptions.

Erica's commitment to pro bono includes serving as a North Carolina Guardian Ad Litem volunteer to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the appellate courts.

Prior to joining Chapman, Erica practiced law with a North Carolina-based law firm.
