Overview

Genni Zimmer is senior counsel and a member of Chapman's Public and Institutional Banking & Finance Group. She focuses her practice on public and private sector financing transactions. 

Genni represents banks, direct lenders, and other credit providers in a wide variety of public finance transactions, including providing credit enhancement and liquidity support for tax-exempt and taxable financings, and direct purchases of tax-exempt securities.

Genni has extensive experience in commercial financing, representing lenders on a variety of secured and unsecured commercial financing transactions, including single lender and syndicated revolving and term loan facilities, lines of credit, asset-based financings, and sponsor financings. Additionally, she has a depth of experience representing lenders on loans secured by a variety of personal and real property collateral.
