Overview

Tom Markle is an associate in Chapman's Commercial Lending Group and a member of the Banking and Financial Services Department.

Tom represents banks and other financial institutions in connection with structuring, negotiating, and documenting secured and unsecured financings in a wide range of commercial lending transactions, including syndicated, senior, subordinated, first lien/second lien, and cross-border financings.

Tom primarily focuses his practice on acquisition financing, sponsor finance, commercial lending, asset-based financings, cash flow loans, multi-currency credit facilities, and leveraged finance, particularly in the middle market. His transactions span several industries, including consumer manufacturers and retailers, education, financial institutions, health care, industrials, media and telecommunication companies, private equity, restaurants, retailers, technology, and many others.

Prior to joining Chapman, Tom practiced law at multiple Am Law 100 firms.
