Ryan J. Bowen, a partner in Chapman’s National Public and Health & Education Finance Department, was named the Texas Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (TALHFA) 2020 Member of the Year in recognition of his work on behalf of housing issuers in the State of Texas. Ryan serves as Bond Counsel and GP/Partnership Counsel for a variety of housing issuers, including many TALHFA members. Ryan’s housing practice also includes numerous engagements as underwriter’s counsel on single family and multifamily housing bond issuances throughout the country. Ryan regularly speaks at TALHFA events on a variety of legal and financial matters affecting local housing finance agencies.
