Overview

Josh Kinard is an associate in Chapman’s Asset Securitization Department. Josh represents borrowers, issuers, funds, banks, and other financial institutions in documenting and negotiating warehouse lending transactions secured by auto loans and leases, equipment, rail, consumer loans, credit card receivables, and other financial assets. He also represents issuers and underwriters in public and private issuances of asset-backed securities. Josh also has worked on trade receivables facilities and forward flow transactions. In his practice, Josh frequently drafts and negotiates credit agreements, offering documents, legal opinions, and security agreements.

Prior to re-joining Chapman, Josh practiced law at an Am Law 100 firm. His previous work focused on advising corporate clients in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate finance matters, as well as documenting and negotiating purchase agreements and commercial contracts, corporate governance and entity formation, and due diligence matters.
