Overview
Kristin Walsh Hilson is a partner in Chapman's National Public Finance Department. She focuses her practice on tax-exempt and taxable financings for health care, educational, and cultural institutions and serves as underwriters’ counsel, bond counsel, and borrower’s counsel in matters involving a variety of financing structures. Kristin also represents financial institutions in the municipal derivatives area, including interest rate swaps and commodities hedging transactions.
Kristin is a regular participant in public finance industry conferences, including Women in Public Finance, the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the National Association of Health and Educational Facilities Finance Authorities.
Kristin joined Chapman in 2014, after participating in the 2013 summer associate program. Prior to joining Chapman, Kristin was a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Donn Kessler of the Arizona Court of Appeals.
