Latrice Baptiste is a partner in Chapman's National Public Finance Department. She serves as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, borrower's counsel, disclosure counsel, and issuer's counsel in connection with variable rate and fixed rate general obligation, refunding, and revenue publicly offered and privately placed private activity and municipal bond issues. She has significant experience working with multimodal structures, integrated and non-integrated swaps, and forward commitments. She also advises clients regarding post-issuance compliance with both tax-related statutes and regulations and bond document financial covenants.

She shares her insights with the public finance community, lecturing and writing on impact investing and ESG finance issues.

At Chapman, Latrice serves as the firm's Diversity Partner, managing firmwide diversity and inclusion initiatives, and is a founding member of the Black Attorneys Business Resource Group.  She also participates in law student programs to put a spotlight on careers in public finance.
