Overview

Ryan Tooley is a partner in Chapman's Banking and Financial Services Department and member of the Commercial Lending Group. Ryan focuses his practice on direct lending, acquisition financing, sponsor finance, commercial lending, cross-border lending, and leveraged finance in the middle market. He advises banks, private credit lenders, and other financial institutions, as well as borrowers, private equity sponsors, and public companies, in a variety of complex corporate finance transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, mezzanine facilities, unitranche and first out/last out financings, asset-based loans, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings, working capital facilities, and bankruptcy and out-of-court restructurings. His transactions span a number of industries, including health care, insurance, accounting, industrials, agriculture, food and consumer manufacturers and retailers, consulting and business services, education, sports, and technology.

Prior to joining Chapman, Ryan practiced law at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
